Today was our well visit 6 month check up...yep, that means shots!! Grape Seed decided today that she doesn't care for our nurse. Maybe she is starting to remember that is the lady who gives the shots ; ) GS current stats are: height 25 3/4 inches (50%), weight 17 lbs 14.5 oz (80%). We are no longer in the 90% for weight! Our Dr. said that GS is going to be a "go getter." He said she seems outgoing, where did she get that from? ; ) (Don't worry Gran, I'll teach her to chase cars like me! For all my other readers- when I was a kid and selling Girl Scout cookies outside Winn Dixie the other girls would stand at the table, but not me! I meet the people at their car door ; )
As most of you know this June will be 3 years since Steve donated a kidney to his sister. Both of them are doing perfectly, you would never even know they had surgery. Sunday Translife (the donation center at FL Hospital) had a "reunion." There was a picnic on top of one of the parking garages at the hospital. It was very nicely done, large white tent, catered, face painting, etc.
