Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! Christmas is even more special now that we are family of 3! This year GS was big enough to stay awake while we opened gifts ; ) She liked to tear the paper into tiny pieces savoring each present.

For Christmas Eve it was our turn to be at my parents' house. Christmas Eve morning my sister and brother brought their families over for us to open gifts and have breakfast. That evening we went to Aunt Cathy's for our Clark Christmas Eve then drove home to wake up in our own home for Christmas morning.

This morning when GS woke up I was so excited! Having a kid at Christmas is like being a kid at Christmas. Unfortunately Steve woke up really sick, but he didn't let that stop him from enjoying this time. GS wanted to play with everything as she opened it, ok, I too wanted her to play with everything as she opened it. The musical sit-n-spin was a big hit. GS loves music!

After opening our presents from Santa at home we spent the rest of the day at Abuelita and Grandpa's house. GS's stack of presents were bigger than everyone else's, maybe even combined ; )

We've had a very Merry Christmas! And we are blessed to know the real reason for the season...Happy Birthday Jesus!
